Yes, there was FINALLY time to put together Episode 10 of Bayley on the Baize, focusing on our time at the Snow Tournament.
Remember? The one in February? Yeah, that one.
Hoping to get more of these together soon. Maybe we’ll catch up by the time World Snooker lets Joe Jogia compete again? (*coughcough*)
The Canadian website Snookerline finally posted that Bob Chaperon won the 44th annual Snow Tournament in Sudbury, beating Fern Loyer (who had beaten Matt in the semis) 4-1. This was no surprise, as the former British Open champ had been on a roll through the weekend, and word was he’d been practicing for an upcoming exhibition, which made him even harder to beat than usual. Click the tabs on the wrap-up for details on the round-robin and knockout results. Thanks again to everyone at the tournament for a great weekend!
Scenes from the 44th annual Snow Tournament in Sudbury, Ontario - the oldest snooker tournament in Canada. A podcast will come sometime this month. Great people, great event. Thanks to everyone there for being warm and friendly and passionate about snooker.
We really want to watch the rest of Ronnie & Mags (go Ronnie!), but there’s another tournament to finish today. There’s Matt back there with the rest at Plaza Bowl Sudbury yesterday.
